About SISO
Somaliland IDP Support Organization (SISO) is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian and development organization based in Hargeisa dedicated to improving the lives of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), vulnerable communities, women, youth, and marginalized populations across Somaliland.
Founded on 2015 for the principles of dignity, compassion, resilience, and community empowerment, SISO works to provide life-saving humanitarian assistance while promoting sustainable development solutions that restore hope and rebuild livelihoods for displaced families affected by drought, poverty, displacement, conflict, and economic hardship.
SISO believes that every human being deserves protection, opportunity, and dignity regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Mission
To provide humanitarian relief, protection services, education support, livelihood opportunities, health and wellbeing initiatives, and community empowerment programs that improve the living conditions and future prospects of internally displaced and vulnerable populations in Somaliland.

To build a resilient, inclusive, and empowered society where displaced and vulnerable communities live with dignity, security, self-reliance, and equal access to opportunities.
